Toaplan Shooters Vol. 2 is on a physical cartridge for the Genesis. This is an open pre-order for a limited time.
PRE-ORDERS CLOSE ON SUNDAY, JUNE 1, 2025 AT 11:59 PM EASTERN TIME.
Toaplan and their classic shoot ‘em ups return for a second collection featuring three more notable titles.
Grabbed this the day the pre-order window opened, and I'm glad I did — having both volumes sitting on actual carts for the Genesis beats emulation any day. The collector's edition packaging looks sharp on the shelf too. June 1st can't come soon enough.
Been waiting for these to hit a physical cart for ages, and the label art alone is worth it. Ordered mine during the pre-order window without hesitation.
The cartridge fired up on my Genesis with zero fuss, and the pixel art on these Toaplan ports looks incredibly sharp on original hardware. Pre-ordering felt like a gamble but it arrived well packed. Worth it for the shmup lineup alone.
