The collector's edition extras are what sold me — the art book is thick and the steelbook looks great on the shelf. Being region-free means I can finally play it on my import console without hassle. Pre-ordered mine before the February 9 cutoff and it was worth every penny.
The remastered cutscenes look so clean compared to the blurry mess I remember on the Dreamcast. I grabbed the Switch version and it runs smooth handheld, plus being region-free means I can finally play my old imported copy saves alongside it. Pre-ordered the collector's edition the day it went live
The remaster itself plays fine and the region-free disc is a plus, but for a collector's edition I expected more bonus content than what's here. The pre-order window closing in February made me rush, and honestly the extras don't justify the price.
