The medium-format pages make the screenshots look fantastic, way better than I expected for a photo essay. I've been flipping through it a chapter at a time and the commentary keeps pulling me into games I'd totally forgotten about.

Jeremy Parish's commentary alongside the screenshots genuinely taught me things about the original PlayStation era I'd never picked up on, even after playing these games for years. The hardcover feels substantial too, and the medium-format layout gives every screenshot room to breathe.
