Nicholas R. ★★★★★

Didn't expect the licensed games chapter to hit me like that — the behind-the-scenes stories on tie-in titles are exactly what I hoped for from a hardcover like this. The physical book itself feels solid too, no flimsy binding.

Alexander ★★★★★

I tore through the section on video game toys in two evenings — the behind-the-scenes stories about how those tie-ins actually got made are worth the price alone. Flitman's writing feels like sitting across from someone who genuinely lived it, not someone reciting a timeline.

Ava ★★★★☆

The chapters on licensed games hit a real nostalgia nerve for me, especially the behind-the-scenes stuff on the toy tie-ins. I wish there were more photos, since it's a hardcover and I expected a bit more visual content for the price. Still a solid read if you grew up on that era of gaming.
