Wasn't sure a guide for a Game Boy Color game needed to exist, but the maps here are gorgeous and genuinely useful. The enemy and item breakdowns helped me finally get through the last dungeon without a walkthrough video.

The hardcover feels way sturdier than I expected for a retro game guide, and the maps finally helped me find the last heart holder I'd been stuck on since 2002. Pre-ordering was a hassle-free call, glad I didn't wait.

Been waiting years for an official guide to the original game, and this one actually covers the overworld maps and every hidden item location. The print quality is great too, thick pages that don't feel like a cheap cash-in. Worth the pre-order.
