R-Type DX -
The pre-order packaging is incredibly sturdy, and the manual includes a full history of the series that I wasn't expecting. The game itself runs smoothly on my GBC, no slowdown even during the busiest Bydo swarms.
Been waiting ages for the DX version to get a proper physical release, and the collector's edition box art alone was worth it. The cartridge boots fast and the Bydo Empire levels look great on my old GBC screen.
The R-Type DX Collector's Edition arrived sealed and the box art is way nicer in person than the product photos suggested. Having the original arcade shooter plus the DX extras on one GBC cart makes it a keeper, and the limited pre-order window made me glad I didn't wait.
