Wasn't sure about a shmup with dog pilots but the Galax setting totally won me over. Pre-ordering was painless and it showed up region-free, which matters since I play on an imported console. Controls feel tight and the stages get hectic fast.
Picked this up during the open pre-order window and the region-free disc means I can finally play it on my US Switch without any hassle. The Galax setting has this weird, dreamy vibe that hooked me within the first hour. Glad I didn't sleep on the November 9 cutoff.
The Galax setting is charming and the dog pilots give it real personality, plus being region-free meant no hassle playing it on my console. Docking half a star because the difficulty ramps up fast and I wish there were a gentler early curve for casual runs.
