Kingdoms and Castles is on a region-free physical disc for the PlayStation 5. This is an open pre-order for a limited time.
PRE-ORDERS CLOSE ON SUNDAY, APRIL 6, 2025 AT 11:59 PM EASTERN TIME.
Kingdoms and Castles is a city-building simulation game about growing a kingdom from a tiny hamlet to a sprawling city and imposing castle.
I grabbed the physical PS5 disc mostly because it's region-free, so I don't have to worry about my console's region when I travel with it. The pre-order window was short but shipping was quick, and it plays perfectly on my console.
The disc being region-free means I can finally lend it to my cousin overseas without worrying about his console. Been playing for about a week now and the building mechanics are way more relaxing than I expected.
Was worried a physical copy of this wouldn't happen, so the pre-order window was a nice surprise. Disc is region-free and loaded fine on my PS5 with no download needed. Building my little kingdom at night has become my wind-down routine.
