Finally got my pre-order in and I’m thrilled — the tactical combat feels fresh while keeping that classic Metal Slug chaos. Being region-free is a huge plus for my setup.
The pixel art on this is gorgeous and the grid-based tactics actually feel like a fresh take on the series. Being region-free sealed it for me since I import a lot of my Switch games. Can't wait for December.
Didn't expect a turn-based strategy game to nail the Metal Slug feel this well, but the grid maps and squad loadouts keep me hooked for hours. Runs smooth on my PS5 and the pixel art is gorgeous. Can't wait to unlock the rest of the roster.
