The paper quality on this hardcover is genuinely nice, thick pages that make the screenshots really pop. I've been reading a chapter a night and the deep dives into specific NES titles are exactly what I wanted. Glad I grabbed it during the pre-order window since it won't be printed again.

Jeremy Parish digs into the weird licensed games and peripheral misfires that nobody else bothers covering, and the hardcover feels sturdy enough to survive repeated trips off my shelf. Since it won't be reprinted, I'm glad I grabbed it during the pre-order window instead of waiting.
